Proof of Concept

Here is a mockup done with 1/4" foam board to get a rough idea of what I designed in CAD actually looks. I will use this mockup to fine too some areas where common construction methods can be used. I have not done the canopy yet, but the canopy with have a nice curve to bring everything together.

Side view. The flaps are 4" wide and the ailerons are 2 1/2" wide.

Another side view. The opening towards the back of the fuse will be were the turbine is mounted. Access will be by removing the wing.

Front shot showing the place of a 50oz Dubro tank. Should be able to get another tank side by side and possibly a third on top of both tanks. The would give 150oz of fuel onboard and right on the CG.
